Our Kettlebell Guide

You probably noticed we have programmed kettle bell swings in our workouts and some of you may not even know what a kettlebell is!

Kettlebells are used throughout all types of fitness and it’s now very common for gyms to host classes that will only contain a kettlebell.

For dancers, kettlebell swings will use your glutes and hamstrings, strengthening them with continual use.

If you would like to purchase a kettlebell (which we advise!)  and use it in the workouts then we have made a guide just for you!

Different ages will have different strength levels and boys will be different from girls.  To avoid injury, it’s also important to not go heavier than necessary for strength gain. Therefor the max weight for girls is a 16kg and for boys a 24kg.

Here is a chart to check your age and see what weight you should be using in your WOD’s!
